Why you need a surf physio
-
Prolonged paddling fatigues the shoulders and the upper back and can lead to irritation of the shoulder joint and pain
-
Build strong, springy ankles that can withstand the demands of aerials, floaters and performance surfing
-
Chronic back pain is common among older surfers, and our biomechanical analysis and exercise programs can help alleviate paddling-induced back pain
-
Knee injuries like ligament sprains, patellofemoral pain or meniscus tears are common among competitive surfers, our surf rehab helps to ensure you get back to competition better than you were before injury!
-
The surfer with a stronger, more powerful upper body will be able to paddle out on bigger days easier and pop up with greater stability
-
Having high cardiovascular fitness is a cornerstone of surfing well. It allows you to handle the long paddle outs and dominate the line up without getting gassed! Our surf rehab and performance framework build conditioning in a matter of weeks!
