Helping surfers, ocean‑lovers, and active people overcome pain so they can get back to what they love most.
I’m Myles Whitbread-Jordan - a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and soon‑to‑be nutrition coach with specialist interests in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of surfing and water-sports athletes and a separate, and equally rewarding specialist interest in the treatment of chronic low back pain. Growing up in Cornwall shaped my love for the ocean, holistic health and how the Cornish coastline can provide the opportunity to heal injury and resolve pain alongside expert physiotherapy care and treatment - a service that I pride myself delivering in the physiotherapy clinic in Truro, Cornwall.
I combine physiotherapy, strength & conditioning, pain science, and lifestyle health to treat the whole person, not just the painful joint. I do this through my Three Pillars Treatment approach which enables us to work together to help you return to meaningful activity with confidence and long‑term resilience. To see what this approach entails then read the article outlining the how and why, on my blog here.
After years working in the NHS, I saw how limited time and fragmented care can leave people without the support they truly need. Tide Physiotherapy and Health was created to offer a more integrated, personalised, and lifestyle‑focused approach - especially for those whose identity is tied to the ocean and the outdoors.
If pain or injury is keeping you from the surf, the trails, or the activities you love, I’d love to help you get back out there.
